Louise Hillier has been running her own business for many years. After graduating from Falmouth School of Art moved to London and worked for Conran Octopus as a book designer. After 2 years moved back to Cornwall where she grew up and worked as Art Editor for The Boatman magazine. Then worked for Cornwall College as a lecturer in Desk Top Publishing, and Art editor for Motorcycle Sport and Leisure for three years.

Then established Louise Hillier Designs (LHD) with clients such as Surfers Against Sewage, Water Craft magazine, Cornwall NHS, Nick Sanders Publications, Blue Hills Publications and published her own project The Motorcycle Diary
